Correspondence, 1937-1948, of the Carolina Political Union, and 1948-1959, of the Carolina Forum. The correspondence primarily consists of requests for speakers to come and arrangements for their visits. Also included are dismantled scrapbooks of newspaper clippings on speakers from the 1940s and loose clippings from the 1950s. Some of the 1965-1966 material addresses the Speaker Ban issue.
